Custom golf tee markers for the club and its sponsors

A club wanted to mark the start of each hole with custom tee markers shaped after its sponsors. They were not available on the market, so we produced them in 3 variants.

Starting point

A clear idea, but nothing like it on the market

A golf club wanted something more than the usual anonymous markers at the start of each hole. The idea was to have tee markers, the small objects that show where play begins, shaped to echo its sponsors. An elegant way to give the club's partners visibility and, at the same time, make the course recognizable and well cared for in every detail.

The problem was easy to describe and hard to solve: objects like these are not available on the market. Standard tee markers are all the same and cannot be molded to the shape of a specific logo or brand. They needed someone able to start from an idea and turn it into real, made-to-measure objects, in several different versions.

Our response

From the sponsor concept to the physical marker

We took the shapes tied to the club's various sponsors and turned them into actual tee markers, designed to live outdoors on the golf course. Three different variants, born from the same concept, each with its own identity yet consistent in style.

Since these are outdoor objects, exposed to sun, rain and temperature swings, we steered the choice toward a polymer suited to continuous outdoor use. For applications like this, ASA is a typical choice, because it holds up well against UV rays and weather without yellowing or degrading quickly.

01

From sponsor shapes to the 3D model

We studied the visual references of the club's various sponsors and translated them into print-ready models, keeping the right proportions for an object used on the course.

02

Three variants from the same thread

From the initial concept we developed three distinct versions (6, 4 and 4 pieces), so as to cover more sponsors while keeping a recognizable, consistent style along the whole course.

03

Material chosen for the outdoors

We produced the markers in a polymer suited to staying outdoors season after season, favoring the UV and weather resistance typical of materials like ASA.

Timing

From shapes to delivery

The work took place in March 2026: from defining the sponsor-related shapes to producing the 14 pieces in the three requested variants, through to delivering the markers ready to be placed at the start of each hole.

Outcome

What the club gained

  • Unique markers, not available on the market, designed specifically for the club and its sponsors.
  • Three mutually consistent variants, developed from a single concept to cover more sponsors.
  • Greater visibility for the club's partners right on the course, at the start of each hole.
  • Objects designed for outdoor use, with a material geared toward sun and weather resistance.
The club had a clear idea that no catalog could deliver: markers echoing its sponsors. We started from those shapes and turned them into real objects, in three variants, ready for the course.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you make tee markers in any shape or logo?

Yes. We start from the visual references you provide, such as your sponsors' brands, and turn them into printable models. That is how we made this club's three variants.

Do the markers hold up if left outdoors all the time?

For outdoor objects we choose materials suited to sun and rain exposure. For cases like this, ASA is a typical choice, because it holds up well against UV and weather.

Can I order a few variants in small quantities?

Of course. In this project we produced 14 pieces across three different variants (6, 4 and 4). 3D printing is well suited to made-to-measure series in limited quantities.
